Travelers Taproom, a local pub located north of Cherrydale along Poinsett Highway, has closed.
The business made the announcement on social media, and its final day was July 19. Its owners could not immediately be reached for comment.

Last year, the business listed the property at 2624 Poinsett Highway for sale in search of investors. Co-owner Jerry Davis said at the time that the business had been hit by the skyrocketing liquor liability premiums that have affected bars and restaurants in the state over the past few years.
