Stoney Clover Lane closes its New Orleans LA location | Business News

Stoney Clover Lane, a brand of customizable travel accessories created by two Tulane graduates, quietly shuttered its Uptown storefront in New Orleans last week after four years in business.

The light pink boutique, at 3938 Magazine St., closed its doors on August 31, marking the latest change down the corridor of high-end retail businesses that sit between Napoleon and Louisiana avenues. The store first opened in the spring of 2021.

Stoney Clover, started by sisters Kendall and Libby Glazer in 2009, sells a variety of travel bags and accessories that can be customized with patches, monograms and more. The business has collaborated with major companies like Disney, Hello Kitty and, most recently, Parke.

Stoney Clover Lane’s location at 3938 Magazine St. closed its doors on August 31, 2025.

The brand has six other storefronts in the U.S., including locations in Nashville and New York City’s West Village.

Stoney Clover Lane’s closure is one of a few shifts along Magazine Street in recent months. The ever-growing shopping destination has seen the recent closures of furniture store Nadeau and skincare shop Kiehl’s.

Los Angeles-based clothing brand Reformation recently announced its arrival in the area, starting work on the brand’s first New Orleans store for a fall 2025 opening.
