Ethan Goldman’s Anchor Entertainment Signs With Verve

The Ethan Goldman-led production company Anchor Entertainment has signed with Verve.

The new representation comes as Anchor ramps up in the non-fiction and unscripted programming spaces.

“Verve’s artist-first philosophy and hands-on approach instantly resonated with us. As we continue to grow our slate of premium nonfiction series and documentaries, we’re excited to join forces with a team equally driven to push creative boundaries and elevate original, compelling voices,” Anchor Entertainment founder Goldman said in a statement on Friday.

The company’s film credits include Netflix’s Rather, HBO Max’s Rebel Hearts and They Called Him Mostly Harmless, and Undercurrent: The Disappearance of Kim Wall for HBO Original Documentaries. And limited and returning non-fiction series Anchor produced include Model America for MSNBC, Look Into my Eyes for SundanceTV and AMC+ and Capturing Home and The Lost Kitchen for Magnolia and HBO Max.

Anchor more recently produced the docu-series Hey Beautiful: Anatomy of a Romance Scam, a co-production with ABC News Studios, for Hulu. And the company’s latest features include Are We Good?, directed by Steven Feinartz, about comedian and podcaster Marc Maron, and Queen’s Castle, directed by Katie Dellamaggiore.

“In Anchor, Ethan and his team are building a powerhouse premium non-fiction company,” said Andy Stabile, Verve partner and head of the non-fiction team. “Ethan is beloved in the market and his successful collaborations with premium documentary filmmakers combined with his track record producing successful returning series makes Anchor unique amongst its peers.”

Anchor Entertainment is also represented by Brian Raymond and Raymond Legal.
