Biz Buzz: Patio season in full swing

ST. CLOUD — For the fifth straight year, the city of St. Cloud has shut down vehicle traffic along one side of Fifth Avenue South for downtown restaurants to offer patio seating.

The city first started shutting down Fifth Avenue South during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, according to city Clerk Seth Kauffman. He said the city implemented the closure as a workaround for pandemic restrictions.
