The Tribeca Festival has unveiled the lineup for its 2025 jury, which is responsible for selecting this year’s top projects from across film, games and audio storytelling categories. The panel will award honors across 15 competitive categories at the festival, which takes place June 4 through 15 in New York City.
This year’s jurors include Jennifer Beals, Matthew Broderick, Ilana Glazer, Art Linson, Kyle MacLachlan and Mira Sorvino. In addition, Tribeca’s Nora Ephron Award will honor an exceptional female filmmaker who represents the spirit and vision of the legendary filmmaker and writer.
“We’re proud to welcome an eclectic group of jurors to this year’s Tribeca Festival,” said Nancy Lefkowitz, EVP at Tribeca Enterprises. “Their breadth of expertise across genres will be instrumental in recognizing standout storytellers and honoring bold new voices from around the world.”

Gabrielle Union, KiKi Layne and Chris Paul Lead 2025 American Black Film Festival Talk Series
Gabrielle Union, KiKi Layne, Chris Paul, Blair Underwood, Ashanti, Holly Robinson Peete, Jemele Hill, Rodney Peete and Tyson Beckford will lead the 2025 American Black Film Festival’s talk series, featuring conversations and panels with industry leaders.
Running in Miami Beach from June 11-15, the festival will spotlight panels “The Longevity Playbook: A Conversation with Blair Underwood” and “Sisterhood & Savings: A Conversation with Gabrielle Union.” Additionally, Netflix will offer an exclusive first look at “The Old Guard 2,” which releases on the platform July 2, in addition to a discussion with “Forever” Showrunner Mara Brock Akil following the first season’s release.
“We’re excited to return to Miami Beach with an inspiring lineup of cultural icons and changemakers for this year’s Talk Series, Spotlight Screenings, and the debut of BOB Talks,” Nice Crowd president Nicole Friday said in a statement.
Screenings spotlight films from Tyler Perry Studios and Jermaine Dupri, which include Starz’s “Magic City: An American Fantasy” and “Old Gray Mare,” a journey through Black representation in television.
