The Dillons Marketplace in Derby (1624 N. Rock Road) is set to undergo a $1.2 million renovation project starting next week. The goal of the project is to offer a fresher, more modern environment, an expanded selection of products, and a more convenient shopping experience.
While the refresh will address the majority of the store (updating cases, lighting, floors, refrigeration, etc.), there will be a special emphasis on the Fresh departments – including produce, floral, bakery, meat and seafood.
Store representatives anticipate the project will be completed by fall 2025, with work being done overnight to minimize disruptions and maintain regular shopping hours.
